Walbro In-tank Fuel Pump Project

Prowler Pro Belanger Header Project

It was for: '95-'04 Neon or '04 Neon SRT-4

High-Pressure 255 ltr/hr kit
Part # - FPC006 - $110 a.k.a. GCA761 autoperformanceengineering.com

My stock fuel pump is beginning to show signs of old age. I have not had the kind of play money to buy the fuel pump from Dean@prowlerpro.com so this will be my inexpensive alternative. I want to thank Al .. aka .. butchcee doing all the grunt work and testing out this new alternative. I have all the mods on my prowler and ever since I came back from Paxton with my High Boost setup. I was told I would need a larger volume pump if I was to get any more horsepower out of this engine. According to Al's R&D, this will do the trick.

Here is the POA thread that started it all

Here are some initials pics of the removal of the fuel pump and soon the reinstall of it.

Phase 2 - Click Here >>

I finally got around to installing Deans Belanger headers and got to tell you my prowler felt awesome at 5500 to 6500 rpms. I want to thank Dean for his support in this project. Now that I have his headers, I need a better fuel pump.

Hyper Drive Brakes thru Scott Curtis

I went to have my Paxton headers worked on because I began to have real loud exhaust noise in my engine compartment. It turned out I lost some screws on my headers and therefore caused my flange gasket to break.

Tom Dickers New Bumper

Larry Meier's Air Scoop

- Comments from Tom Dicker-

I built the "extensions" identical to the factory "framing";  then power-black; and added the chrome verticals from a Cobra clone-- rock solid -- the lights are Harley factory turn/running lights --

- Comments from Larry Meier-

I made a sealed air induction scoop, drawing the fresh cooler outside air and sealing it off from the hot engine air. It comes in from the side panel. I have a temp gauge on the air coming in from both the outside and the rubber elbow attached to the engine.

Input & Output Sensor Pics

Prowler Pro Gear Project

- Comments from Dan Pena-

These sensors especially the input sensor tend to fail under prolonged heat exposure. These get installed in the tranny or referred to as the TCM (Transmission Controller Module).

- Comments from Dan Pena -

After installing my Paxton, I have felt the cat needs a little more help.
Boost does not kick in till about 3K to 4K rpms. I'm venturing into changing gears on my Prowler.
I'm also detailing other Prowler Enthusiasts Prowler Pro Gear installs.
