Prowlerexcitement.com Arrives in Detroit

Dan Peña leaves San Jose Ca, at 10:55 pm catching the red eye to Detroit Michigan. Cj and gang meet up with him in the Detroit airport. The rest is history.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 16, 2001
Conner Avenue Assembly Plant Tour

• Jerry Scholten from DaimlerChrysler assists in answering any technical questions enthusiasts may have.

• Prowler enthusiasts cruise to Hell, MI for a "Day In Hell"! The cruise route is through sections of the city, surrounding suburbs and beautiful, rolling countryside.

• As the day begins, prowler enthusiasts get together and Jerry Scholten from Chrysler surprises us with some grown up toys.

• Harold owns an awesome collection of vintage and rare MOPAR vehicles and memorabilia. There was no cost to tour this museum, as it is a private collection that is not open to the public.

• Walter P. Chrysler Museum for the party which began at 7:30 p.m. and ran through 12:00 Midnight. The museum was open at no charge. Dress was casual; 50's attire was encouraged. Diner-style eats and drinks were provided (adults 21 and over only).

Prowlerexcitement.com would like to thank CJ for her warm welcome in Detriot. Cj went the extra mile to pick me up at 10:00 am on wednesday morning. I was looking to surprise her by taking some pictures of her when she least expected it. But as things turned out, she was ready for me. Not only that, she had the whole crew of enthusiasts, Beware and his lovely wife, JohnS and Silver Bullet (aka Silver Bullet) taking pictures of me as I approach them. Totally unexpected!! Great job CJ!!

 
 

Prowlerexcitement.com would like to thank Bob Longstreth for opening the doors to his home. Bob has a great heart and goes that extra mile for the prowler enthusiast. Bob always seemed to surprise me anywhere we went. I also want to thank him for cruising me around Detroit. He also made special arrangements for us to see the Roush factory and Harold Sullivan MOPAR Car Collection. That was very awesome to see. CJ and Bob Longstreth sacrificed much and because their HONOR and dedication to the Prowler enthusiasts. The cruise was a BIG SUCCESS. Thank you Bob and CJ for all your support!!
